"Simple Love"© is a dream to go back to Jr. High days, when you could get a thrill "from holdin' hands, and just being together.". My wife has told me about a "Mad about you" TV episode where Paul and Jamie become sad when they realize they will never again experience the thrill of the first kiss. In this song, the person has had his fill of heart breaks and is tired of the complicated relationships. He longs to go back to the days of "Simple Love".

I recorded this song on a Zoom Palm Studio PS-02. It has 2 acoustic guitar tracks and an electric guitar using the PS-02's simulator. The long instrumental in the middle is so I can listen to it while out and about to try to finish the lyrics. The guitar intro that I screwed up on is using two cords I had just learned and seems one has to be double jointed to play them. I still haven't mastered them. I pray I won't want to go back to that part anywhere else in the song.
